Transportation
From the airport to Hotel Kuninkaantie by public transportation: Take the I train from the airport and then change train in Huopalahti for the S, U, L or E train towards Espoo (not Helsinki!). Get off at Espoo station. From Espoo station, it’s a 5 min walk to Hotel Kuninkaantie. Fare 5.50 eur.
From the airport to Hotel Radisson Blu Espoo by public transportation: Take the I train to Huopalahti station and change to bus 552 going towards Otaniemi. Get off at the stop called ”Otakallio”. From there, it’s a 5-min walk to the hotel. Fare 5.50 eur.
From the airport to Sato HotelHome Elosalamantie by public transportation: Take the I train to Huopalahti station and change to bus 550 going towards Westendinasema. Get off at the stop called ”Revontulentie”. From there, it’s a 5-min walk to the hotel. Fare 5.50 eur.
From Hotel Kuninkaantie to Suna school: It’s a 15-min walk. Or bus 270 plus some walking, 14 mins, fare 2.70 eur (with a ticket bought in advance).
From Hotel Radisson Blu Espoo to Suna school: This is a little bit tricky. Bus 550 towards ”Westendin asema”, get off the bus at ”Tapiolansilta”. Walk down the stairs to ”Tapiolansolmu” and take bus 156 heading west to Suna. Get off at ”Soliseva” and walk to the school. About 50 mins in total. Fare 2.70 eur (with a ticket bought in advance).
From Sato HotelHome Elosalamantie to Suna school: Bus 156 going west towards Suna. Get off at the stop called ”Soliseva”. From there, it’s a 3-min walk to the school. The ride is about 30 mins. Fare 2.70 eur (with a ticket bought in advance).
From the airport to downtown Helsinki: Local train lines P and I.
The most inexpensive way to move around is the HSL public transportation system. Regional fare 5.50 eur, Espoo internal fare 2.70 eur (if bought in advance, valid for 1 hour) . You can also buy a 5-day tourist pass for 36 euro, valid in all of Helsinki region, including boats to Suomenlinna. A 5-day Espoo internal-only tourist pass costs 24 eur.

Normal taxi from the airport to either Hotel Kuninkaantie or Hotel Radisson Blu Espoo costs roughly 60 eur (one person).

On request, local karateka can provide transportation from and to Helsinki airport. and also from Radisson Blu to Suna school and back. Note: advance booking is required; please contact Marko Häkkinen (see below).
Locations
Suna school is at Solisevantie 10, Espoo. It’s about 1 km walk from Tuomarila station, with frequent connections on local train lines S, U, L and E. Bus line 156 has a stop about 200 m from the school.
Otahalli is located at Otaranta 6, Espoo. Bus lines 102, 102T, 103, 103T, 194, 194A, 195, 195N, 501V.
Hotel Radisson Blu Espoo is at Otaranta 2, Espoo (right next to Otahalli).
Hotel Kuninkaantie is at Lakelankatu 1, Espoo.
The sauna on Saturday evening is at Otakaari 8 E, Espoo, a 2-min walk away from Otahalli and Hotel Radisson Blu Espoo.
